Kieran Whelan, MBA, FCPA

 

Kieran has a wealth of experience of leading and advising large market leading businesses. As an accomplished Managing Director, Finance Director and Non-Executive Chair of market leading plc and privately owned companies operating across a variety of industry sectors he has a broad knowledge of business insights and skills required to manage high performing businesses.

 

His experience includes quite a unique exposure to dynamic trading conditions where commercial acumen, financial rigour, strategic insight and entrepreneurial skills were an integral requirement. He has a proven track record of delivering exceptional sales growth, financial returns and service levels in the industrial, consumer and services sectors. He has led, developed and mentored numerous senior management teams in target achievement, KPI development and cohesive participation in objective setting. He is experienced in leading an MBO, M&A transactions, business integrations and business reorganisations.

 

Kieran also led the establishment of a Multi-Industry stakeholder National Compliance scheme, and was appointed Non Executive Independent Chairman. He has led the organisation in the development of key strategic positions and in conducting successful negotiations with Government and other major stakeholders. He is highly experienced in Corporate Governance matters and of Finance, Investment  and Strategy Committees.
